This website (www.bailiff expert.com) is for information purposes only as we cannot speak and negotiate directly with the Bailiff unless we take instructions from you in relation to an IVA.
We have an in-house Insolvency Practitioner that may be able to help you if you are experiencing financial hardship dealing with your unsecured debts (including the creditor who has instructed the Bailiff) in an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA).
We would only be able to provide you with advice after completing an initial fact find and where we consider that you meet the criteria for an IVA. To qualify for an IVA, you must have at least 2 creditors and 3 lines of credit (for example: A Barclays overdraft and Barclays credit card would count as 1 creditor and two lines of credit); and you ideally should have surplus income after living expenses but excludes any monthly repayment to creditors.
All advice regarding an IVA is given in reasonable contemplation of an insolvency appointment.
Any advice in relation to the IVA is free and if you decide to make a proposal to your creditors in an IVA, professional fees will become payable. Generally, those fees are paid from the affordable monthly payments you make into the IVA.
